GREEN STAR HOSTS TOUR OF WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY
This month’s brown bag event organized by Green Star may be better enjoyed without your brown bag lunch! On Wednesday, July 16 from 11:45 – 1 p.m. we will host a tour of the Municipality’s wastewater treatment facility. The tour will cover the operations of the plant and laboratory, which will help us better understand the relationship between using hazardous products and our water quality. Meet at the Asplund Wastewater Treatment Facility at Point Woronzof at 11:45a.m. Directions: Take Northern Lights Blvd. west, past the Airport and Earthquake Park. Just after the parking lot at Point Woronzof, take the first right into the facility. It may be necessary to push the call button on your left for access.
