HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM SECTOR
Hospitality, travel and tourism in Alaska are big business, representing the second largest industry sector in the State.
Green Star provides technical assistance, outreach materials, and water- and energy-saving devices for use in hotels. These materials are made possible through a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. In addition, research will be conducted for the industry regarding green cleaning products and product lines.
